We invite you to explore the art & craft of cooking while you're enjoying a night out with friends, learning new recipes and enjoying the freshly prepared food. Our chefs come to us from many local restaurants and clubs, including, Grand Kankakee Restaurant, Rittenhouse Senior Living in MC and Long Beach CC. Mardi Gras Madness $50 Joe Gaal, Grand Kankakee Restaurant Wednesday, February 10 6:30 pm Come create a little Mardi Gras Madness! This lesson shows how you can create a great party of your own! Come to learn Shrimp Etouffee; Gumbo with Red Beans, Rice & Smoked Sausage; Creole Fried Chicken. Dessert will be Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding.
Gourmet Couples $100/couple Derrick Stevens Friday, February 12 6:30 pm Make a plan with your partner to join us & be part of creating this delicious gourmet meal. When preparations are complete, we’ll enjoy our food with a sampling of wine. The lesson will begin with French Onion Soup and Gruyere Croutons,. The entrée is Herb Crusted Filet Mignon with wild rice; Roasted Tomato, Zucchini and Eggplant with Boursin cheese. And for dessert, we’ll have a little crème brulee with caramel banana rum sauce.

Around the World of Teas $10 Sunday, February 28 2 pm Do you have a lot of questions about tea, and in particular about the health aspects of green and red tea? This is the class that will answer your questions. We’ll talk about all of the health aspects of green tea and red tea, why white tea is so special and what is fair trade certified tea. We’ll sample a variety of teas and maybe a few scones to go along.
